Most studios dont want to cast you and wont if they dont have to. Sometimes WHY you didnt get the part has absolutely nothing to do with your talent. I have, as Im sure most of you have lost out more parts to actors who arent black and then you have to worry about the names and favoritism that follow afterwards. Not to mention being pitted against one another. So when you book work, it means something. No matter how big or small the role. Cherish the opportunity.
