Everyone thinks Iran/Tehran is a crazy place that is dangerous for Americans and foreigners to visit. But the reality is that Persians are the most hospitable people that I have ever met which makes the experience quite unique. Europeans have been going Skiing there for years. Though there are strict laws, its not as bad as Saudi Arabia or other Islamic countries. Moreover the government and locals give a pass to foreigners (non-Persians) who dont know better. Unless your a CIA spy or doing really shady shit like those Berkeley hikers who claimed that they accidentally crossed the border while hiking in the desert mountains of Afghanistan. I mean cmon now, which white Americans would accidentally go hiking in Taliban territory... stupid
