Excellent first day at the berry stand. Lots of customers to keep me busy, returning ones mostly, that I remembered, and seeing the changes in the kids after last summer very cool. The boss man came out early and we talked and laughed. Then he came back after church and we talked and laughed even more. Then he left and came back with TP, PT soap and 2 cases of bottled water for us to sell, now that we have the cool used Coca Cola cooler. He has never done stuff like that! It was so nice! It could have been that the first thing this morning I had the farm guides with me and passed them out and remembered to remind people to wash their hands, in front of the boss (always helps). The joke of the day...Lady says, it was the picture of the strawberry shortcake that got me. From then on I would ask everyone was it the shortcake? People nodded and laughed and one person said it was the morning pic of me with all those berries! FB page is working great this year!
