Excerpt from todays work on The Princess of Wind. “Please state the color of your purchase” “Light blue please booth” “Your dress in your selected color, light green, is on its way. Thank you for shopping at Quicke Clothing Depot.” “NO, not light green you stupid machine. I said light blue!” But it was too late. A pile of light green silk fabric came out of a chute and landed on a chair in the booth. Dianna picked it up and slipped the dress over her head. Its helm was a little shorter than her school skirt but other than that it was perfect. Dianna grinded her teeth as she silently swore at all machines. Stepping out into the shop she could see Thomas dressed in a red shirt and red pants. The shop keeper was wrapping their school uniforms up and, using a stamp, put their addresses on the packages. He dropped both packages down a chute and their uniforms were on their way back home. The shop keeper, only about a year older than Thomas and Dianna, smiled sweetly at them.
