Excited to run this Lilly Seminar in a few months with a dear colleague. "With an increasingly diverse campus, many faculty find themselves in uncharted territory. When handled appropriately, diversity can lend itself to improved critical thinking, problem-solving skills and civic engagement. It can also contribute to tension, hostility and, in some cases, open conflict if left unattended. This practice-oriented workshop will equip faculty with the tools and resources necessary to address these challenges and maximize the potential of a diverse classroom."
