FACEBOOK RANT! Did you know the average American uses approximately ONE HUNDRED gallons of water a day? For those of you who have publicly stated that the Ice Bucket Challenge is an offensive, egregious waste of fresh water, heres my water challenge to you. If you REALLY want to get serious about freshwater waste, follow these simple steps: 1. Stop bathing 2. Stop brushing your teeth 3. Stop flushing the toilet 4. Stop washing your dishes 5. Stop watering your yard 6. Stop washing your clothes. And while youre at it... 7. Stop swimming in pools 8. Stop waiting for the shower to warm up before you jump in 9. Stop watering your garden 10. Stop washing your car 11. Stop shaving 12. Stop drinking out of water fountains 13. Stop eating at restaurants that use real plates 14. Stop washing your hands. (Eeeewwww) Also while youre at it, you should... 14. Repair every single leaky faucet in your house 15. And, in case your house catches on fire, dont call the fire department. You see, on the day I was pouring ONE gallon of ice water on my head to raise awareness for an awful neurological disease, you wasted ONE HUNDRED gallons of water just going through an average day. Think about that. Now whos guilty? *(drops mic, walks away)
