FAERIEWORLDS 2015 VENUE AND DATES ANNOUNCED! In 13 years, Faerieworlds has evolved from a small gathering in Prescott, AZ to being the premier mythic & fantasy Arts & Music festival on the West Coast that annually draws guests from across the country and the world. This year, we end our tenure at Emerald Meadows and in Eugene, Oregon and begin a very exciting new era for Faerieworlds. As a valued member of the Faerieworlds family, we want you to be the first to know where the Realm will be located in 2015 - and there’s a LOT to tell you about our new location - and date! - so let’s get started: The location for Faerieworlds 2015 is at the famous Hornings Hideout, in North Plains, OR - just minutes from Hillsboro and about 15/ 20 minutes from downtown Portland. A well known and popular festival destination and campground, Hornings Hideout annually hosts Northwest String Summit, String Cheese Incident and other events. Called the “best Outdoor Venue in the Portland Area, if not the Pacific Northwest,” Hornings Hideout truly needs no introduction to regional festival goers and will deliver many of the event experiences that Faerieworlds fans have been asking for. THE NEW DATE Faerieworlds 2015 will be held on September 4, 5, 6, over the Labor Day weekend. There are lots of advantages to this date that include cooler late summer weather, easier travel time on Monday after the show as it is a Holiday (and not a “work” day) and cheaper travel costs for guests com in from out of state - and there are a LOT of them. A BETTER FESTIVAL EXPERIENCE As a private, popular and full service campground for decades, Horning’s Hideout offers what many consider the premiere PNW festival experience, nestled in a valley among tall Douglas firs adjacent to a beautiful lake. And that means, SHADE my friends, and lots of it everywhere! And as a festival site with decades of experience, the Hornings team has the parking system down: fast, efficient and directly adjacent to the Vendor Villages. CAMPING AMONG THE TREES All campsites will virtually surround the event so you are never more than a few minutes walk (along lighted paths at night!) from all of the festivities. And with LOTS of campsites among the trees, there will be no need for open field camping at Faerieworlds at Hornings. And there’s lots of easily accessible RV camping too, WITH hook ups! For the first time, we will be offering VIP Camping in the Premiere locations on the site. THE BANDS We are already working to create an exceptional line up of main stage bands to showcase in this exceptional venue. to kick things off, we are happy to announce the return of Germany’s FAUN and the Netherlands OMNIA appearing together for the first time on the Faerieworlds stage. Watch for many more exciting announcements in the coming months, Faerieworlds 2015 at Hornings Hideout will be an exciting new beginning for all of us and a dramatic new experience of the Realm within a lush, woodland setting.
