FALL NEWS LETTER AND FUND RAISER A Fall and Seasons greetings from the Mary Anthony Dance Theatre and Studio. As we approach Halloween, and knowing that the rest of the fall holidays slide quickly into place we want to bring all of our friends, supporters and students up to date on what we have planned. First we are building an 11:00 AM series of classes that will feature different teachers, each day of the week teaching different techniques. So far we have lined up Mary Ford teaching Limon technique, Linda Hayes, a certified instructor teaching Pilates, and teaching Anthony technique We are currently looking for someone to teach Eric Hawkins technique.. December 1 is our target date to start this exciting series. Four days in a row the student can be exposed to four different techniques and be challenged. Friday, November 1, the 92nd Street YMCA will present a lunchtime dance lecture honoring the works and life of Mary Anthony. Dance Fusion from Philadelphia will present a section from “Songs” one of Mary’s best known works and Martin Lofsnes’s 360 dance company will present Mary Anthony’s “The Devil In Massachusetts” On December 7, at 8:PM and December 8th a 3 PM Fred Timm, will present a studio reading of his play, The Accord of Angels to open the Christmas season at the studio.
