FOOTBALL Elks 68, Loggers 36 AMANDA PARK — Kobe Kalama ran for six touchdowns and passed for a seventh as Lake Quinault rallied past Crescent in a non-league football opener Saturday at Amanda Park. The Elks trailed 28-16 early in the second quarter after the Loggers returned a Quinault fumble for a touchdown. Quinault, however, scored twice in the final 3:09 — on Kalama’s 19-yard run and 22-yard pass to Dylan Lines — to forge a 28- all tie at halftime. The Elks then took command with 24 points in the third quarter. Kalama’s other touchdowns came on runs of 1, 23 and 46 yards. Lines closed out Quinault’s scoring with a 42-yard interception return. The versatile Kalama rushed for 146 yards on only 10 carries and passed for 116 yards. The Elks travel to Wishkah on Saturday in the first installment of a two-game series.
