FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: MEDIA CONTACT: Gayle Love 305-514-6607 [email protected] Frank Calderon 305-514-6751 [email protected] TRAFFIC ADVISORY: WEEKDAY LANE CLOSURES ON VENETIAN CAUSEWAY TO BEGIN WEDNESDAY, MARCH 5 (MIAMI – March 4, 2014) –Beginning Wednesday, March 5, and ending on or around Friday, March 14, 2014, one lane will be closed to traffic at the Venetian Toll Plaza. The lane closure will take place on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The lane closure is necessary to install new equipment for the transition to the SunPass System scheduled for later this summer. Depending on the nature of the work, the closed lane could be on the eastbound or westbound side. The lane closure will be coordinated to minimize the impact to traffic. The Venetian Toll Plaza staff may direct traffic through the dedicated C-Pass lanes as necessary, in order to relieve traffic congestion throughout the causeway.
