FOR THE IGNORANT IN THIS COUNTRY Kuwait used to be part of Iraq. But the richest people there took the richest oil area and nearly all the coastline and formed their own country which was so rich that none of the citizens in this new country had to work. In fact there were 5 servants for every citizen. These servants were imported from the other poor countries in that region and they could not become citizens, had no rights, could not vote…virtual slaves. A real democracy. However they sold us oil and that’s all that mattered. Saddam tried to take this territory back so the original citizens could share in this wealth. But Bush 1 sacrificed our troops and tax money to protect his business partners and Bush 2 went even further, sacrificing 4500 of our service men and women and maiming tens of thousands more and cost the US what could go over 4 trillion dollars…a war that caused the deaths of 200,000 inocent men, women, and, children (some in that area claim the number is over a million). Literally destroyed that country and created millions of refugees. Our business partners in that area are not democracies…they are dictatorships…women have no rights period…and they behead citizens and have for centuries. I am pointing this out to hopefully keep people (conservatives) from walking around, being stupid…..(Fox News is not going to cover this). This is what the Gulf War was about OPERATION FREEDOM…….
