FOSTERERS NEEDED Here at the centre, we do our best to provide the dogs with a safe secure environment whilst they are in our care, unfortunately we just cant replicate a real home. Whether its puppies, oldies, giants or minis, we need foster homes for them all! We have some absolutely stupendous fosterers who, time after time have made a huge difference to the dogs that they have taken into their homes. We are nearly full in the kennels at the moment and we have dogs who desperately could do with being in a foster home. If you can only foster for a few weeks or if you can foster for months or even years we could do with your help. We have puppies who need to learn about house training, cats and kids. We have a mastiff who desperately needs a home where he can settle and put on some weight but hes not sure about children or cats as hes been through a lot recently. Weve got the sweetest terrier girls who need to move on from life being huddled together, and need to build confidence in a home environment. If you feel you may be able to foster for us then please drop in to the centre and speak to reception about how to register. As a fosterer we need there to be someone home all the time, a secure garden and a full list of who lives in the home already - Not all our dogs would cope with children or cats etc but for some it would be perfect. Equally we need you to think about what you might be able to take on. Are you an active family who could help us with an active younger dog? Are you a more sedate, slightly more mature person who could maybe help us with one of our sprightly oldies? Please have a think about whether you can help. The nights are drawing in and whilst you are sitting home with family, planning your festive season, our dogs here might need that peaceful evening at home to help them cope with spending Christmas without a forever family.
