FQ: I need some serious advice and prayers. I got diagnosed with trigmeninal neuralgia about a year ago. For people who dont know what that is its an extremely painful facial pain that is known as one of the most painful diseases known to mankind. Ive been on a lot of medication for this and it seems to work for a while but eventually stops. I recently found out that Im 12 weeks pregnant so I cant have the usual medication and treatment done for this because of it. Im on lamictal right now and it doesnt seem to be working. Has anyone else been on this drug and the baby come out okay? Im so worried about the medication affecting the baby but I cant deal with this pain anymore. I feel like Im sinking into a depression because most days I dread waking up and always end up wishing I hadnt. I already have a 2 year old and I feel like a lousy mom because I feel so awful all the time. Has anyone suffered with a painful debilitating disease while pregnant and how did you cope with it? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks so much. ~4
