FRIENDS PLEASE HELP -- Call for help in Staten Island - My friends Stepfather is disabled and has liver cancer. He lives alone, as her mom passed away and has absolutely no family. He cannot afford the co-pays, food, etc. with living expenses. He is not 60 so Meals on Wheels could not help. Jill is the only person that is helping him right now and she works full time, takes him to all appts., etc., etc. Right now she is trying to get him assistance for food, co-pays, transportation, but in the meantime the big thing is FOOD. My family is doing a food shop for him this week and have 24 bottles of Ensure. If anyone wants to donate ANYTHING, please let me know. Pathmark, ShopRite, Ensure-Target--Gift Cards $, Message me! We will make sure he has enough food each week until he gets the services he needs. Any names of services to help cancer patients would be helpful. We know of Cancer Care, food banks, etc. Thank you so much!!!!!
