FROM DEATH TO LIFE In the past you were spiritually dead because of your disobedience and sins. At that time you followed the worlds evil way; you obeyed the ruler of the spiritual powers in space, the spirit who now controls the people who disobey God. Actually all of us were like them and lived according to our natural desires, doing whatever suited the wishes of our own bodies and minds. In our natural condition we, like everyone else, were destined to suffer Gods anger. But Gods mercy is so abundant, and his love for us is so great, that while we were spiritually dead in our disobedience he brought us to life with Christ. It is by Gods grace that you have been saved. - Ephesians 2:1-5(GNT) *I remember a time when I was just sick of my life. It was the same pointless thing over and over again. I prayed to God ask Him, Father, what do I need to do to make my life better? Surely, You didnt bring on earth to just merely exist and die. Show me what I am suppose to do, everything that is not meant to be in my life take it away and give me everything new from You. God heard my prayer instantly and everything changed. I went back to church, and even though I got dumped, lost weight, and felt like I was going crazy; I found a better place to live, got another job and got emotional, psychological, physical and spiritual healing all in a space of 6 months of hard work, prayer and seeking answers in the Bible. That was the hardest 6 months of my life but I got through it because of my faith in Gods plan. All because I reclaimed my life in Jesus Christ. Hence, this journey you read about every morning. A year later, I still seeks answers everyday. But this journey is not about me, its about God at work in one persons life and how He is waiting to do the very same for you, if only you let go of the worlds opinions and allow Gods opinion of you to matter most. Heavenly Father, thank you for a second chance at life. Help me Father not to ruin my only chance of the greatest love and life ever because of the opinions and things of this world. You have upgraded my life to heavenly realms because of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who died so that I, who was once dead, can live now live forever. Dear Lord, I exalt You with my life for all You have done for me and are doing for me because I understand that I will never get a chance like this again and because of Your mercy and love, my children and their children to come, will experience the same grace forever.
