FROM THE NEWSROOM: One person was transported from the scene of a two-car vehicle accident in Brooklyn Monday, according to state police, who say that an SUV traveling on Route 6 drifted out of its lane and clipped a trailer that was being towed behind a truck before rolling over. According to an accident report, Heather Sutton, of Nashville, Tennessee, was operating a Nissan Pathfinder west on Route 6 at about 4 oclock Monday afternoon when the SUV drifted across the double yellow lines and struck the trailer, which spun around and made impact with the Highlander. The SUV rolled over, according to police. Sutton was transported by Mortlake Ambulance to the Backus Emergency Care Center in Plainfield for treatment of possible injuries. The driver and passenger in the truck that was towing the trailer were not injured, according to police.
