FROM THE NIGERIAN ELECTORATES TO THE ELECTED.Education should train the child to use his brains,to make for himself a place in the world and maintain his rights even when it seems that society would shove him into the scrap-heap.Huuuuun… Such an excellent quotation by the American Deaf & Blind Helen Keller of the blessed memory ‘1880-1968’.Buthere in the land, who within or outside the government at all level givesthe required attention for the needful treatment to heal the sick system of the Nigeria’s educational sector? “”A MILLION NAIRA QUESTION FORTHE ELECTED AT THE HEMS OF AFFAIRS.””Nevera privilledge but ‘RIGHT’ for all they say is Education. But, why in the country are we often being denied access to the ‘KEY’ we believe opens the gates of bounty opportunities for both the nation and future of the citizens? So great was the very good idea of Public-Private-Partnership control, towards the development of certainsectors in the land. And again, big thumbs-up for such aBrilliant ownership concept. But, why for instance has the proliferation of schools within the private sector in the land killed those of the public domain without the due leadership concern? And, what hope is in the allegedly deliberate arrangement of the government for children of the poor to adequately get the world standard quality education in Nigeria? ……… “”A MILLION NAIRA QUESTION FORTHE ELECTED AT THE HEMS OF AFFAIRS.””On daily basis, I monitor operationsof the foreign media with keen interest. And, on no media house in either America or the United Kingdom have I found other countries, coming to promote their own system of education there, like it operateshere in Nigeria. And regretably, so blindly does Nigeria continue to catapulting the ‘Bestof her Brains’ to building and developing the key-sectors of foreign countries around the world.“”So sad a development…””Would it ever happen on any of the foreign media? Or, when shall we in theland begin to trading the Nigerian system of education inthe foreign market, just as much as we have it from other countries of the world?Sunday 16/11/2014 was day number216since the abduction of the Chibok school girls, and still singingso painfully on our tender lips is theunfortunate rhythym of:: BringBackOurGirls…BringBackOurGirls…BringBackOurGirls!!!To whom but the elected in the landdoes the electorates turn for a lastingsolution against all unfriendly situations surrounding the Nigeria’s sick sectors? The electorates have elected the political leaders to manage affairs of the operating governance in the land. Hence, qualitative leadershipsystem cannot be a privilledge but rightof the electorates which here byis onwardly demanded for an Innegotiable Better Nigeria. At this painful point especially for the Nigerian education dear authority in the land,………Bring Back The Glorious Days of our local system of education and more to rejuvenate the “Sick Sector.” God Bless Nigeria.WrittenBy:Sulaimon Salam Bamidele THE’GREAT’SSB.
