Fabulous day today :D My daughter graduated today - shes a certified Aged, Disability, and Health Caregiver. That means, she looks after the elderly in a resthome. She finished her course a few months back. While on course, she did a placement - worked voluntarily in a resthome. They Loved her!!! - staff and residents. Snapped her achilles, which had her in a cast for a couple of months. As soon as the Doctor cleared her, the resthome employed her. Shes been there, happily, ever since :D She really loves it. Thinks nothing of showering people, or cleaning up their messes. Im so proud of her!! In my culture, our elderly are our treasures. So for her to take this literally, and make it her daily duty - well, I just think thats awesome!! :D :D Because, as we know, not everyone thinks like this, and certainly not everyone would do it with a smile on their face. But my girls do. ** So very proud
