Facebook asks, What have you been up to? er... laying around getting antsy. Foot up, presumably healing. Im in aggressively relax you (me) dumb-arsed bimbo mode. To quote my doctor last week, If youd done what you should have 6 weeks ago, youd be fine now. Now (he shrugged) I dont know how long this is going to take. My prognosis? Youre fu**ed. He said that! LOL (bone healing, tendons not, nerve damage seems likely) And Im feeling guilty about Everything! Ive not done enough housework, laundry is piling up, Ive not mailed all the Solstice/Christmas things, Ive not completed shopping for Sunday (when my family will be doing our celebrating together before most scatter to other places for Christmas), Ive missed work and cant afford that, Ive not done recordings (Youtube, Minecraft, Patreon), I dont have any cooking or baking done for Sunday, Bella is bored to distraction, Ive not completed my own build for Winterfrost (in Minecraft) and omg grumble grumble grumble. Yes! I can DO Im-a-weeny with the best of them. LOL Then... well, then I remember I have some really great people in my life, Bella is healthy, my family is around me and I expect they will love me even if we eat take out pizza on Sunday, the foot WILL heal, the cards will arrive (even if they are late) and blast it, havent *I* been the one saying for years we really gotta cut back on over-the-top holiday stuff and stress anyway? So today I will get the Minecraft recordings completed (no matter what!), and attempt as much housework as I can get done before the foot hurts too much to care about the rest. Then I will lie back down, put the foot up, and watch more of a British series Ive just found this week (Scott and Bailey) which I am loving. Tonight, Briar is taking me out to eat (new Mexican place in town) so I shall have food without having to stand up much to get it. You know what? Life is good! :D Just think... I have a life that allows phrases like take out pizza, rescue dogs, family around me, mailing cards, internet and computers, online friends, watching tv in bed and eat in a restaurant (how about eat at all!). We are all so blindingly Rich. Life isnt good, good grief Eva, life is amazing! :D Thank you all for being part of what makes it Amazing. HUGS
