Factors that can effect your scale weight due to fluctuations in water balance & why if you are going to weigh yourself, only do weekly with the same weight in routine (first thing Monday morning etc) - varying/inconsistent carbohydrate intake, varying/inconsistent sodium intake, food volume amounts, fluid intake, varying fibre intake, exercise volume & temperature fluctuations. As mentioned, pick a set day & time to weigh yourself on a weekly basis as that way your routine will give you a better indication on what the scale is actually doing rather than weighing on a daily basis & causing yourself unnecessary mental stress!
