Falcon Oil & Gas begins Besa-D-1 drilling in Hungary - Falcon Oil & Gas (LON:FOG) has begun drilling the Besa-D-1 exploration well in the Mako Trough, onshore Hungary. It is the second of three wells in a programme alongside Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS), a unit of Gazprom. The well will be drilled to a depth of 3,000 metres to test the gas potential of the Algyo Formation. Testing of the first well in the programme has now come to an end.
