Fan Question-----From Mya Merica I inherited a beautiful dining set from my parents. I believe it is mahogany, maybe cherry. My Mom was a heavy smoker. I cant get all the tar out of the wood. She only dusted with Endust so I know it is not a build up of wax. It is sticky to the touch in places and certain fabrics will stick if you lean back against the chairs. In some places the finish has cracked and is coming off. I tried a commercial stripper on a coffee table and ended up with a hard gooey mess. Can any of you help me with a solution that will get the tar out from the cigarettes?
