*Fan Question* My husband went to a man with a gun call. When he arrived at the house and went to the door he saw a man inside sitting in a chair. Before my husband could say anything, the man committed suicide, shot himself in the head while my husband watched. It all happened in a split second, but it really shook my husband up. Since then he has been to a few similar calls. The week after this call, he managed to talk someone out of it. He has recently responded to a call where the person had already finished the act. Each time, including the first, he has had terrible headaches. He can handle all the other blood and scenes, but something about suicides with GSW to the head causes him massive headaches. Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this and what can I do to help? Unfortunately, we are approaching the holiday season and sometimes this increases the number of people that take their lives. How can I help him? I really hate seeing him suffer. The nightmares are slowing, but I know he is suffering and I feel helpless
