Fan Rant: NO BASHING I love being a friend of your site. I have alot of medical knowledge from nursing school & from being in many healthcare fields. Answering the medical questions are always my favorite. If I can help one person then Im happy! But I want to discuss something that really pushes my buttons! I read alot of posts about women getting pregnant with no insurance! Some allready have kids.. How do you raise a child without healthcare?? It makes me mad to see the extent off irresponsiable women out there! How is it ok to get knocked up & expect the government ( aka. Tax payers) to raise your children?? If you cant afford them--- then keep your legs closed!!! Go to the wic or family planning clinic & get condoms!! No child deserves irresponsiable parents! I seriously hope the government does away with alot of programs because it just continues to put the nation more & more in debt. I have been married for 15 years & am 32 years old. I have a 5 yr old child & another on the way. If I knew we can provide a good life- including insurance, food, a roof over the childs head, clothes for its back & a good education then by no means would I have been spreading my legs to but a child in that kind of life. Does anyone else get upset when they read those kind of posts -- or is it just me?? I feel like saying get off your lazy butt & get a job!!! Ive did everything from being a homecare nurse to delivering newspapers to provide for my child! He is 5 years old & has never had an overnight. Im in the PTO & very involved in his life.
