Fasting is not for wimps! It is not easy to give up food for a day! There has to be something pretty serious going on to make someone want to make a sacrifice like that! Tomorrow Voyagers are fasting as a community for something pretty serious. We all have people in our lives who are not yet Christ followers. We are going to collectively lift them up to God, to grieve for them, and petition God to extend his patience toward them and continue to draw them to Himself. You may focus your attention on one particular person or on a group of unbelievers. If you are a spiritual explorer, I encourage you to fast for yourself tomorrow. Fasting can help us get in touch with our buried longing for God, and our buried guilt and shame over the sins that have separated us from HIm.
