Father Pat Guyguyon and I both loved this song...i normally sing it and he whistles or hum the tune with me. I sometime forget the words, he never. 8 mos ago when I saw him in Lagawe, I was told his memory is gone. He didnt recognise me but he recognised the song. Tears pools my eyes while I was singing, he hummed with a vacant stare. I was about to give up., I walked him to his room, I waved him goodbye and start walking away...he called my name! I turned around wen Apo, syak daytoy, jay inaywanan yo. apay nga agsangsangit ka ngay. naragsakanak nakakita kanyayo. Sige ngarud, nabannogak so I kissed him goodbye!
