Father Update: I have been relatively silent concerning my father the past few days. This is due to some really hard decision moments. My father was born in 1930 in Houston. He grewup around Navigation/Canal/Wayside Denver Harbor area of Houston. He used to go squirrel hunting out along the Wallisville road area in Denver Harbor. He grewup during the depression era. He attended the original Sam Houston High School Tigers and was a Cheerleader for the football team. He joined the Navy and then the Korean War broke out. He had worked for the railroad but retired from the Goodyear Chemical Plant on Hwy 225. He is a Mason and Shriner. Today is a very hard day for our family, the family will gather around as we have the doctors remove the oxygen machine from our father. He is not expected to survive.
