Father, we hallow your name. Thank you for this day. We praise you for who you are. Father we pray for our pastors. We pray their strength, tenacity and courage in days like these. We pray for vision and direction that comes only from you in Jesus name. We pray that you raise up an army who will not hold your praise. We pray Father, that you will remind us as to WHY you sent your ONLY Son to die on the old rugged cross. It was not for us to praise you when we get clothes and shoes. You gave us the garment of praise and robe of righteousness then shod our feet with your great gospel. He did not die to give us houses and lands, money or even earthly bread for you came as Bread and in you is our shelter and all in all. While we thank you for things, REMIND us Father that they should not be, are not our focus and that they are NOT what this great gospel is about. You are so much bigger. So much greater. Father, we seek your kingdom in Jesus name. Father, we are tired of praising you when it looks good. Tired of praising you when we can see the way. Tired of praising you when it feels alright. Today Lord, we pray for the spirit of tenacity to worship you from a broken and contrite heart for that you will not despise. We praise you BEFORE Jerichos wall fall. Praise you when it is disorderly and confused for you are the God who brought order into a disorderly universe with just ONE word! HEeeeey! We worship you BEFORE the red sea is parted. We worship you BEFORE the storm ends. BEFORE Pharoahs army gets swallowed by the sea. BEFORE you quench the fire. Worship you in hopelessness for you are our hope. FAaaather, we worship you for you said that NOW shall the TRUE worshippers worship you and we MUST worship in spirit and in truth! Today, we send the fire of the hOly Ghost and the all powerful blood of Jesus Christ after those who choose to preach another gospel in Jesus name for YOUR truth oh Lord marches on. Amen.
