Fear is not your friend It’s after the first fresh burst of the new season that that we start to think about the same old niggles – worry about the future, stress about exams, under-confidence. A report by the BBC last month month flagged up fear as a major contributor to stress and unfulfilled potential at GCSE. We mentioned this in our article last week. Research conducted by Edge Hill University, the University of South Australia and the AQA exam board has confirmed what we all seem to know: there is a link between stress and worry about exams and poor (or lower than expected) results. Fears, like dead leaves on the path, will always get in our way, try to block our journey and threaten to slip us up. Navigating them and clearing them away takes strategy and practice. But it is possible to get through exams and times of making important choices and decisions without being held up indefinitely or waylaid completely by worry, stress and fear. Identifying and removing fears one by one from our experience is an important skill to hone. So, we’ve devised an Activation Session to help students overcome fears that are holding them back from approaching exams or preparing for transitioning into a gap year or university with confidence. Click the link below to download it for free and take just 15-25 minutes to get on with clearing out some of the fears that are blocking you. This could be the best investment of your time this month. Try it and see.
