Feeling discouraged and defeated tonight. My occupational therapist has been trying to find a lift for the side drivers side door of our minivan but it doesnt look like any company makes one. I can get one for the back door but when Im by myself in the winter using crutches that far is a big fall risk. I need a power wheelchair because my wrists are not doing well with the manual one but I cant get the power one until we can get it in the van. My options are a full size van with horrendous gas mileage or a van conversion which is very expensive. I dont know what were going to do. The expense of a new van along with our house reno is a lot to take on and no funding available from anywhere. >:(
