Fellow Ghanaians, please let’s have patience for JM and his government. I appreciate the President’s call on Ghanaians to have patience as the incompetent government that he leads untactfully address the nation’s surging economic crisis. Yes we should have patience with him. The sense that I got from Mr President’s appeal is that Ghanaians are largely to be blamed for the declining economic state of our beautiful country. That Ghanaians had a choice between incompetent JM and competence, but surprisingly opted for JM. Mr JM is simply asking us to have patience whilst his mediocre thieves steal from the public purse and pursue trial-and-error tactics in fixing the country’s problems. How do you improve the economy when government functionaries are stealing every penny from the public purse? How would JM progress the economy when his government is extremely undisciplined fiscally? How does JM fix the economy when his government simply borrow to steal? The President in principle is advising the smart thieves to shut up and enjoy their opposition status. Both sides of the political divide are thievery; the only line of separation is the smartness of the thieves and hence the capability to broaden the national cake. The smart thieves are good at expanding the economy and then criminally stealing part. The mediocre thieves on the other hand are clueless on how to grow the economy but criminally steal everything they find in the purse. We have a choice between two thieves as a nation. Which way do we go?
