Finally submitted my approved bio to the University: Valerie Mae - TopicsExpress

Finally submitted my approved bio to the University: Valerie Mae is a Native of Onondaga, New York, and a veteran of the United States Army. She served in the military, government, and corporate private sector for 17 years leading in foreign affairs, Middle East culture and affairs, and national intelligence matters. After touring and living all over the world, Mae realized it is indeed a very small place, and that people are people, no matter where you go. We all connect on a very personal level. Mae came full circle back to her native roots and a love of plant medicine taught to her by the elders of her youth when she attended Tai Sophia Institute to complete her Masters of Science Degree in Herbal Medicine. Mae has since left the Intelligence Community to be a leader in herbal medicine, Native American Medicine, and Integrated Healthcare. Mae is a Clinical Herbalist, Board-Certified Nutritionist, and an Ordained Minister with a Doctor of Metaphysics. Currently in private practice specializing in oncological support, neuromuscular support, and pediatrics, and serving as faculty of herbal medicine at the Maryland University of Integrative Healthcare, Mae also serves as President-elect of MCPC, President of Maryland NORML, and Vice-Chair of Maryland ASA, and is a Charter Member of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) as well as a NARF Member. Mae’s hobbies include lecturing on folk medicine, primitive skills, tracking and private investigations, herbal and native medicine, practicing yoga and martial arts, gardening and being in Nature with her husband, Undrea, their daughter Olivia Rain, their four chickens, and 10,000 honeybees.
