First I would like to express my gratitude for all the love that has been demonstrated through your comments, I am overwhelmed and so very grateful for all of your thoughts, prayers and love. As of Thursday Nov.13th at 12:45 pm this is where everything stands. Dianas surgery started yesterday around 9:45 am and ended around 5 pm.and was not without complications. The hole made in the skull initially was not large enough to remove the tumor so they had to make it larger simply to get it out which results in greater trauma in general. She was finally moved from recovery and went into icu about 9 pm. Not long after being in icu they discovered brain/spinal fluid leaking out of her left ear and her temp went up to 102.5. They packed her up quickly and did another CT scan and called in an ENT specialist to evaluate what would be the next course of action hinting at going back in. Of course we began to lift all of this up in prayer. I am overjoyed to report that around 4 am the spinal fluid stopped leaking and the temp started to go down. As of right now her temp is normal and still no leakage and I am so grateful to be able to share this. Of course she is dealing with a great deal of pain as expected after such an ordeal but I believe we are starting to turn the corner. Keep doing what youre doing and my love to all of you.
