First thing first, I couldnt even finish this article because it was so egregious. I am a Soccer, Football, Basketball, and Wrestling Mom and Coaches Wife never have I ever thought soccer wasnt just as physical or competitive as any of these other sports. In fact today when watching the US V GER game, I was thinking, man was I in some of the best shape of my life when I played soccer. As a personal trainer I was thinking what a workout, 90 minutes of running but not just at one pace. There was jogging, running, and sprinting and then having to actually think about using your skills and thinking on top of that, that is some really top notch athleticism going on. As for Men and Women being able to play together, please Ann Coulter go ahead and try to defend some of these men, I dare you!
