White bass and striped bass hybrids good on lipless baits, grubs and sassy shad, shad and chrome colors work best, at 3-6 ft. in the main lake, around points and rocks. Channel and blue catfish good on punch bait, dough bait and cut bait at 15-20 ft. along riprap and the main lake. Walleye fair on worms, crankbaits and minnows at 8-14 ft. in the main lake, drifting crawler rigs or trolling deep running crankbaits. Blue and channel catfish fair on cut bait, stinkbait and shad at 2-6 ft. along flats, river channel and below the dam. White bass and striped bass hybrids fair on crankbaits, topwater lures, spoons and spinnerbaits from the surface to 30 ft. in the main lake and below the dam. Trolling on or near the main lake humps has been the most productive; some topwater surfacing early and late. Extreme caution is to be used while boating. The lake will remain drawn down for the next few months to allow vegetation to grow for waterfowl. Hazards exist throughout the lake. Coon Creek ramp is unusable for all boats. Channel and blue catfish good on stinkbait, worms and live bait at 10-20 ft. in the mouth of the Washita River, cleaning stations, in the upper Red River to Fobb Bottoms and along riprap.
