Flos Kitchen: Lunch at Flos yesterday. I am always amazed that - TopicsExpress

Flos Kitchen: Lunch at Flos yesterday. I am always amazed that whenever I go there are so few people there, and the food is so good. I think it is a location issue more than anything else, but I digress. First thing I noticed when I walked in, besides Rhonda Turberville, was that they had the freaking music ROCKING...loud. I dont mind the music, and I dont mind it loud, but my goodness, you could not carry on a conversation without practically screaming at one another and constantly asking them to repeat themselves. We finally asked them to turn it down a bit and they complied. The place was pretty clean, the service friendly and prompt, and the sweet tea was really good. For the first time ever, I did not order the Philly Cheesesteak, and tried a double bacon cheeseburger. It was good, big with lots of bacon, and you can never go wrong with anything with lots of bacon. The fries were tasty, but so damn soggy they were like a limp noodle. You couldnt just pick them up and eat them, you had to stuff them in your mouth and the ketchup would barely attach itself to the fries because it slipped off from the grease. Negative. I liked to burger, tea, and service, but they can do better with the fries and music. Ill give Flos a reluctant 6, but they are usually better than that, and Rhonda a 2 for leaving w/o saying goodbye to me.
