Following my nephews suicide a year and a half ago, I started going to grief counseling. I go every few months and had my appointment tonight. As I was leaving my therapists office, I see a Sky Stone in her planter with a few other inspirational stones. I picked up the stone and said OMG, where did you get this? She said someone left it on the table in her office a month ago. As she knows the story of my nephews suicide, I told her that he was one of the inspirations behind why Sky Stones RI was created. She gave me the stone and said this was meant for you to have. So this is mine now, and I guess was a message for me to keep my head up!! Just so fitting since I was at a grief counseling session. I do think it was a message from my mom for me to keep my head up, because it will be our first holiday without her and it was a subject of discussion that got me a little emotional tonight.
