For 40 years oroweat wheat berry was my favorite bread and had the fewest and most healthy ingredients. Whole wheat berries,whole cracked wheat, stone ground whole wheat flour ,raisin juice, honey and water. The price got up to about $5 and a few months ago I splurged on a loaf. I put some in the toaster and waited to hear the wheat berries popping cause as my sister pointed out any years ago thats how you could tell when it was done perfectly. Well no popping. Then I tasted it and it was bland and dusty. I looked at the ingredients on the bag that stated original ingredients and the first ingredient is now wheat cuttings? What are those? Following that were about fifty other ingredients and then the kicker: it is made by bimbo. Someone ought to file a big false advertising lawsuit. I noticed the price is down to 3.50. I guess others have noticed too. The best bread is now killer Daves. Its super good!
