For Bona Fides: I was POST (Peace Officer Selection and Training) qualified out of the Modesto Police Academy for the US Coast Guard. I graduated the program With Distinction. Seven police departments in the Bay Area sent me recruitment letters when my Coast Guard hitch was up. Im not talking to hear my gums flap, nor am I anti-cop by any stretch. When I dial 911, it isnt so some Occupy pinhead will come help me. Sadly, a lot of guys become cops so they can use real guns. The mentality which many officers bring to the Force is one of IM in charge, now! Left unchecked, that attitude develops into full blown Whatever I do to YOU is justifiable, whatever you do to ME (including dirty looks and accidents) is cause for your arrest. This video is prima facia evidence of that fact. Many PDs even have Maximum IQ Allowances, because someone too smart might become bored (or disgusted) and quit, after too long. When Hitler was putting together his SS troops, he recruited most heavily at local police stations. As our National attitude shifts slowly towards the Socialist ideal of Gobs of Government Equals Goodness and away from the Founding Fathers warning of That which governs least, governs best, we will see an ever growing, ever more violent Police State creeping inexorably into our lives. The honorable calling to Serve & Protect, is being eroded into Subdue & Punish.
