For all those who know us.... Vickie Amos was involved in a fairly serious car accident this afternoon. While working another driver cut her off and hit the front corner of her car sending her into a skid. Her car collided with the interior jersey barricades (the concrete things in the center of the road) and skidded back across and came to rest off the road. Her injuries are not life threatening but they are serious. She has a broken nose from the air bags deploying and a broken femur. That is the large bone in your thigh. She is having surgery tomorrow to install pins/plates/screws to repair her leg. At this time we do not know the extent of her soft tissue injuries. I just know that she is in a tremendous amount of pain. All of your prayers are requested and coveted at this time. I will try to keep you all updated as things develop. Thank you friends for your prayers. She is currently in St Vincents Hospital Southside. That is the one on Belfort Road.
