For at least 10 years I have been running a program called Folding at Home. It is provided by Stanford University and is being used to research protein folding and why proteins sometimes mis-fold, causing many diseases, among which are Huntington’s Disease, Cancer, Parkinson’s, Diabetes and a number of others. Progress is being made, though it is far beyond my limited knowledge in such workings to explain it. What I’m asking of you is to join me in this quest. If you have a desktop computer which sits idle most of the time, put it to work. You can donate your work anonymously, create a team or join mine. I worked anonymously for several years, and then created a team—The Moss Bluff Mudd Ducks, team number 44546.
