For deathists/doomsayers, the most blasphemous philosophies are idolatry [Deuteronomy 13] and auto-theism [Isaiah 14:13-14]. Supernaturalism always demonizes the good things in life. Whereas naturalism always searches for welfare and progress as a fundamental part of our evolution. Well, transhumanism is both idolater and auto-theistic. Transhumanists worship artificial intelligence because its sublime intelligence will save us from a certain death. So far, no God has ever saved us from death. Artificial intelligence will take the initiative. Moreover, nanorobots will infuse their sublime intelligence into us and will make us Godlike cyborgs: We will be immortal, superintelligent and capable of harnessing the laws of physics at our own will. We will create own our Gods [superintelligent machines] and we will become one with them [superintelligent cyborgs and posthumans]. :)
