For everyone else, well if you have ever taken vacation during the month of August to Europe (virtually ALL of EU shuts down for at least a few weeks for the mass pilgrimage to the mountains, the Mediterrean, the Greek Isles and the like. The stigma here is that the English and Germans have a running battle concerning who can lay claim to the prime real estate (beaches, poolside chairs, etc.) the quickest. The English are known for getting up really late, while the Germans are known for getting up really early for just this sort of thing illustrated in this parity;)....
