For those of u who think the sky is clear Answer the sky is blue because the light from the Sun scatters and blue scatters at least since when has the blue sky been clear have I missed anything sitting on this computer help my whole life the last time I checked sky was blue big mirror and ocean i think not the sky appears blue most of time because the water molecules in the atmosphere act like to prism for retracting the white light from the Sun due to several factors such as the angle between the Sun and the earth and the physical properties of water blue is the prominate color that we observe however when the sun sets for instance the sky changes to a orange or red color as these are now more prominate than blue
