For those that know me you know i will tell it like it is. I will be nice about it but i Will tell you! But today Its one of those days where i am just shaking my head and wondering wth. Ten litters of puppies between Sioux valley and Canupawakpa that we know of. And only one family is willing to work with us to put pups into rescue and spay the mom. They are doing the responsible thing. They are Not breeding purposely to make a quick buck - they are being responsible. They arent just having puppies because oh look how cute they are and then discarding them when they grow up. Yes I am ticked off So many people on the reserve have worked hard to gather up the stray and unwanted dogs which has made your community safer. Dogs are getting vaccinated which means less chance of getting rabies. More are getting dewormed which means your kids wont get worms. More dogs getting fixed to cut down on dogs roaming around and getting Into your garbage or eating your dogs food then you call me to complain, then we Try to identity and remove the trouble dogs - but we cant work fast enough and they get shot and deliberately run over. Where do you think these dogs come from? they are your neighbours , your friends your families pups now - all grown up. We even help provide dog and cat food if you need it. We help provide transport if you need it. Tens of thousands of dollars on vet bills. I must have a welcome mat on my forehead. Being taken advantage of is coming to an end. Prepare for change.
