For you Judy..I have made this Turkey Dressing for my family since Sandy was in Brownies..its the only one they will eat and now make themselves.. 1pkg Uncle Bens White and Wild Rice..cook 1pkg good Herb Stuffing Put in lge bowl Saute about 1 1/4 C thin Sliced celery and 1 1/4 C Sliced mushrooms and 1C Thin sliced onions (I use the Dry kind for hiding onions for little ones!) Saute in one stick butter Mix stuffing mix..cooked white and wild rice..and Cooked vegies..add 1/2 C Fresh or dry chopped parsley...NOW add 1 C Chicken stock..mix all together and put into 9x13 pan..as turkey cooks add about 3/4 to 1C drippings from basting juice over dressing..bake about 1/2 hr to 3/4 hr to brown and crisp up top.. Side note..I use melted butter..some chicken stock..some beer or wine to baste turkey..Mighty tasty!!
