Forbidden Fellowship Furthermore, God has for forbidden all pretended communication with departed spirits. The Bible says that “familiar spirits,” as these visitors from other worlds were called, are “the spirits of demons” (see Numbers 25: 1-3; Psalm 106:28; Corinthians 10:20; Revelation 16:14).
