Four Keys to not Offend or be Offended I have run Life Renewal for - TopicsExpress

Four Keys to not Offend or be Offended I have run Life Renewal for 12 years now. From experience, I have learned that people are never your enemies; it is the spiritual forces that attempt to operate through people. We as Christians, want to be used by God, not the “accuser of the brethren.” I recently did a teaching on how Satan uses our experiences and wounds: rejection, betrayal, accusation, condemnation, abuse, shame, and abandonment, to access us to operate in these same characteristics toward others. I did not respond to a recent judgment made against the ministry because I fully have seen and believe God as a rearguard, a shield, and a protector The Lord truly hides us in the shadow of His wings. He has never failed me. Why should you ever respond to someone who judges your heart and motive, when you and God know the truth? Often we are to just be silent, not react, and watch God defend us. That just happened through my Facebook friends who have received from this ministry. I thank you for your personal testimonies. I am writing this to put light on four important lessons that we all need to apply through our thinking and life skills. I teach that it is through your core beliefs (strongholds), the speech patterns and life skills such as communication, boundaries, assertive skills, conflict resolution, and more that we do or do not represent the character of Christ. As Christians, we are called to show Christ’s character. We need wisdom to do that, and Proverbs urges us to seek wisdom, which in Hebrew means applied skills. So here are the four categories for each of us to evaluate with the Holy Spirit in order to be molded into His image. 1. Deal with your own wounds and mental strongholds so you can be used of God and not be the voice of the accuser. 2. Forgive people because they are not your enemy; Satan is the one who seeks to use our wounds. 3. Don’t react, instead be slow to respond and inquire of God whether there is anything you are to do or say, or just be silent. 4. Trust God to protect and defend you even in your silence.
