The Blue Jays scored in the first on an error, a walk by Tanner Lintner, and a two-run single by Hollingsworth. Guthrie was solid at the plate for the West Platte Blue Jays Varsity. Cody went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first and third innings and homered in the seventh inning. Stephenson picked up the win for the Blue Jays.
