Fox Sports 1490- Story submitted by Lassen High golf coach Greg Dickerson. Lassen Girls golf team competed on Monday for NAL finals at Lake Shastina. Lassen took second place for the 18 hole match behind Anderson. Lassen was led by Vanessa Smith who came within one shot of qualifying to move on to section finals. Also competing for Lassen were Trini Suarez, Danielle McBride, Lindsay Noggles, Gabrielle Gatie, and Alexis Zuniga. For the season Lassen finished in second place in the NAL behind Anderson. Lassen finished ahead of West Valley, Central Valley, U-Prep, and Mt. Shasta. Other members of the Lassen team were Erica Embree, Federicka Maggi, and Eden Nugusse. SB
